Supporters of Papua New Guinea's ousted prime minister Sir Michael Somare say a failed military mutiny has not stopped their push to have him reinstated as PM. Former colonel Yaura Sasa, the leader of previous week's unsuccessful coup, was arrested and billed with inciting mutiny at the weekend.
Previous Thursday, he led a modest team of soldiers into Murray Barracks and put the commander of the defence force under house arrest.
He mentioned Sir Michael had appointed him commander and he was demanding Sir Michael be reinstated as prime minister.
